A PSA

Hey everyone, I think I’m going to hold off on my screencap picspams for a little bit. Over the past few days Tumblr has been flagging quite a few of them as adult content. I’ve appealed them and they’ve been reinstated. One post I made last night was flagged early this morning.. I appealed it and after nearly 12 hours they still haven’t reinstated it (not even sent me an email). It’s a totally innocent post – no nudity or anything else like that. I’m getting sick and tired of this.

For now I’ll just reblog cool stuff and keep up the “Caption This!” posts (they seem to be ignoring those for now). Once this nonsense dies down a little I’ll go back to the picspams. Thanks for understanding. Love you guys. 🙂

So according to Tumblr, Daleks qualify as “adult content”, I guess. Is that because they don’t seem to be wearing any clothes?

Seriously, I have been spammed by Tumblr with emails since yesterday (6 in total) claiming posts I made to this blog have been flagged for “adult content.” Two of them were posts I made last night with screencaps from “Planet of the Daleks.” None of the people shown were nude, so I guess that leaves the Daleks. I’ve appealed both posts so hopefully they’ll come to their senses and realize that there are no Dalek naughty bits on display. One of the posts I appealed yesterday was reinstated by them, so here’s hoping.

I’ve contacted support complaining (as they’d sent emails about this but none of my posts appeared to have been flagged at the time) but they obviously don’t care. Wish they’d stop targeting my innocent little blog here. :/

Update: Just got the emails saying they made a mistake and the posts were reinstated. Not holding my breath that this won’t happen again at any point today, tomorrow, or soon after. Thinking of making a sort of backup for this blog on WordPress in the future.
