So what did we learn today? Apparently both Romanas are the same height (I thought Romana I would be taller by a long shot), and Ace and Peri are the same height (I somehow imagined Peri to be significantly taller…) Also, Victoria is far far far smaller than I had ever envisioned.
I kind of envisioned Peri being a bit taller too… I know you don’t have Ben but I think he was around 5′9″ or so? He appeared to be slightly taller than Jamie.
I was recently watching The Moonbase and listening to the DVD commentary with Anneke Wills and Frazer Hines.
There was a point where The Macra Terror was brought up and they were
asked if there’s anything noteworthy we’re missing out on with that
story being missing.
Frazer said there was a point where he was wearing a pair of orange shorts as Jamie while Polly was sewing him a new kilt so he wouldn’t have to bother with the whole tartan-over-the-shoulder ensemble.
I’m not sure whether he was just joking or if there’s some truth to this (as in it could have been a cut scene?). He’d mentioned it before in an interview with Dr Who Magazine back in 1984 during the filming of The Two Doctors.

higher resolution? Its from the War Machines photo shoot but I’ve never
seen it before
Hi! I wish I could say that I did, but that’s the only one I’ve seen. There are some more from that photoshoot here, but I don’t see that particular one. There’s one of her and Michael that’s similar to it, but there’s a huge shadow over both of their faces. I’ll keep looking, though!
Jamie’s entrance is one of my favourite companion introductions because Polly literally says ‘Doctor, can we take him with us?’ like he’s a stray animal.
Polly: Doctor can we keep him? Pleeeeeaase? Ben and I will take good care of him and feed him every day, promise. pleeease please please pleaase.
